Atlantis Casino at Atlantis Paradise Island

Paradise Island, Bahamas

The transformation of the iconic Atlantis Casino at Atlantis Paradise Island, is part of a $150 million resort-wide renovation. The redefined casino blends contemporary elegance with the resort’s signature oceanic themes, creating a dynamic, immersive experience for visitors. The design incorporates vibrant elements such as a custom carpet featuring 26 jewel-toned shades, shimmering textures, and flowing lines that echo the refractions of the sea. Additionally, four renowned Dale Chihuly glass sculptures, including “The Sun” and “The Moon,” have been re-lit to harmonize with the new design, enhancing the interplay of light and space. The renovation also features restored murals and modernized lighting that complement the sophisticated yet classic atmosphere of the casino. A key highlight of the redesign is the upgraded central Moon Bar, featuring a circular deck overlooking the gaming floor. Bar Sol, a new addition inspired by the late Sol Kerzner’s passion for Bahamian culture, adds a vibrant touch with its live music, raised DJ booth, and a restored Chihuly chandelier as its centerpiece. These updates, along with the revitalized design, create an elevated guest experience that captures the spirit of Atlantis while offering modern touches.
